The only way to lasting happiness is through cultivating peace. We have to come home to ourselves. Therefore we need to be brave enough to challenge our own thoughts, feelings and especially our own belief system.
For lasting change to occur we have to go to the core of our being and truly see our predicament. We have to come to terms with the fact that we are conditioned to seek gratification from the outside world to suppress discomfort. We have to see our neuroticism for ourselves.
When we stop directing our energy outwards and start directing our attention inwards a few things happen:
1. We become aware of all the internal processes and start seeing our tendencies with their effects.
2. We set the necessary condition for an unwinding process to happen.
We cultivate perseverance, patience and deep compassion through our self exploration. Instead of having an instant answer at hand, or a pill to fix our issue, we purposely open our emotional wound by structurally observing ourselves.
It is truly amazing to experience nature, grace, God, the universe - or whatever name you give it - take control of the healing process. We open the wound, stay with it and watch the healing taking place.
The beautiful paradox is that we heal ourselves by not fixing anything; we create a favorable result by not wanting anything; and we gain lasting happiness by not striving for it. By stepping out of the way we give nature a chance to fix us at the root level.
I am here to help you on your path to self realisation, without all the fuss and unintentional fakeness of the spiritual community that is all too common nowadays. Just someone that is also walking this path and who is also not perfect, but learning along the way.
